Didactics & Conferences The curriculum is highly academic in structure, and the Program dedicates at least 8 hours a week to regularly-scheduled lectures and conferences. Morning Report (8:00-8:30 am daily) run by the Dep’t Chair, Program Director, and at least 1 other faculty member Inter-Department Conferences (7:30-8:30 am, Wednesdays) Gastroenterology Conference Oncology Conference Critical Care Conference ACGME Core Conference EKG Conference (7:30-8:00 am, monthly) conducted by the Chief of Cardiology and/or Associate Program Director Summer Core Lectures (12:00-1:00 pm, daily except Fridays) special core curriculum lectures and clinical training sessions for interns Medicine Noon Conference (12:00-1:00 pm, daily except Fridays) special lectures by nationally-recognized experts Journal Club (12:00-1:00 pm, monthly) 2 critically-appraised articles presented per session Medicine Board Review (12:00-1:00 pm, weekly) interactive audio-visual MKSAP review Annual Einstein Lecture formal scientific meeting with a nationally-recognized speaker tribute to Dr. Hans Einstein (faculty; foremost authority on Coccidioidomycosis)
